Peer X‑Press (PXP) is a Web-based peer-review and editorial-management service that allows publishers to offer their authors, reviewers, editors, and staff a number of convenient, time-saving functions. The service is easy-to-use and provides tracking and processing throughout the editorial workflow, from author submission to reviewer selection to submission review, revision, and approval.

Each Peer X-Press site can support a number of publication types, including journal manuscripts, meeting abstracts, conference papers, and book chapters. It can also manage workflows where authors themselves prepare the final publication. Peer X‑Press integrates seamlessly with AIP's production and composition services and with its online hosting service, Scitation®.
